Underwater Cuteism

Otter swan seal hippo underwater abovewater swim swim love & joyyyy. Cuteoverload.com.

Today, act 38 with Yih Wern. Very dangerous to sit next to her during assembly. She's loud. Lol. Likes to laugh.

And thank goodness, piano theory exam is not in July. That is practical exam. BIG sigh of relief there. Worried for nothing. :D

Teacher fined us RM2 for speaking dialects or anythingotherthanenglishormalay. When I look at some of my friend's face I automatically want to speak Cantonese/Chinese, you know? Sometimes it's not that I'm being rude, it's just instinct to use that language. But thenn, it is much easier to gossip when you're using dialects. Just saying. Christians aren't supposed to gossip, but I'm no saint. :(

Why, Malaysians have the in-built abilty to juggle between languages, but sometimes English sounds like Chinese. You know lah!

Pets. Labbit.

Somewhere reading the magazine Play(about vinyl toys) I saw labbit. It reminds me of 2 bunnies I used to have. It was a tragedy, you know? One died after shitting too much after 2 days I bought it, the other died one month exactly, on my freakin birthday. I cried for 2 hours for the first bunny death. By the second time I was inured to it already. Sigh. Loopy and Snowball. Sigh. I think this was 6 years ago.

Here I am, reminiscing my dead pets. I hope there's heaven for animals. Reunion after death. Oh dear.

Hey, I've have had quite some pets over the years. I had 2 tortoise which grew to 400% it's baby size before releasing it into a pond. And then some hamsters when I was real young but they got loose and ran into the drain(?). And then a lot of different fishes.

Labbits are cute. Lookie!

Cuteism 3- Panda

Why, there's nothing interesting to write about my life lately, so fortunately for you guys, I am posting pictures of pandas. They cute. Wouldn't it be great to have pandas as pets? Oh so cuddly. But then, they have an enormous appetite for bamboo and are endangered.

And oh boy, cute stuff relieves stress. Especially ones where they make you go, "Awww...."

Dog and dog

Lucian obeying the sit! command
Drinking from my cup!

Took some pictures with iPhone. Clear! Nice, but hard to camwhore with it.

Today was fun, at school. :D A lot of funny things happened. But some of them are humiliating to write down. For the person.

Finally switched to commerce(from Add Maths). Happy I made the decision. I am not mathematically inclined!

Sim Kuan's birthday. Oddly today it's her birthday and she gave me my present. Lol. Two headbands! How thoughtful! :D She must've read my blog.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SK! Oh yeah, RAIMI TOO! TOMORROW IS MING WAI'S! He was like "nobody will celebrate one lah!". xD

Just realised Accounts punishment starts tomorrow. Lasts a whole darn month. Don't know what it's about. Teacher decided to start on April Fool's. April Fool's is an annoying day! People always try to fool you. =.=

And I am not going to eat Roti Planta. At least not everyday. I saw the abang slapped on so much of margarine and sugar! Going to die from clogged vessels.

Am going to change my blog's look. Feels a bit too pink now. :/ I've never change it before.

Wake up, people! 1, CRUELTY FOR FASHION.

GRAPHIC POST.
My blog should have content warning but I don't want to trouble my readers to press the button everytime.

It's nice to be ignorant about an animal's suffering, but someone posted a video of a pregnant cow being slaughtered on facebook.... So I started searching some stuff. Gaining knowledge about animal cruelty is suffering. Because we watch them suffer.

It is easy to blame the people who get their hands bloody, but we should also blame ourselves because we drive them to do it. Supply and demand. If nobody wants to buy fur, nobody would make fur.

After seeing how the animals suffer I think that having my phone stolen is just a minute issue. Oh well, I was lucky to have a phone in the first place. I care about animals more because we hold their fate in our hands. (cheesy :D)

KAY, I love animals but I admit being a bloody hypocrite(unsconsciously sub-consciously and consciously). I use leather. I eat chicken(but not pork/beef/etc).

BUT THUS, I SHALL CHANGE. NO MORE LEATHER. And if I ever manage to be a fashion designer one they I won't use materials which causes the animals to suffer. CRUELTY-FREE FASHION. Like Stella McCartney!

FUR & LEATHER, because we have to rip their hide off. Images are particularly graphic. Not gonna lust for designer handbags. Those which contains... animal carcass.

http://www.squidoo.com/christmas_without_cruelty

The animals farmed for their fur are kept in small, barren cages averaging 90x30x40 cm and stereotypical behaviour like self-mutilation and cannibalism occur. They are killed by gassing, neck-breaking or anal electrocution.

I could point you to some links where German-shepherd dogs and badgers are being skinned alive, and they are still alive when all the skin has been taken from their bodies, but these are too harrowing and sickening. I cried uncontrollably when I saw these covertly taken videos and was shaken for weeks (I am still very angry when I think about it, not to mention some of the sick comments). I will not put you through this, you need to take my word for it.
(Passage taken from somewhere else, links above & below)

One day I'm gonna print out these graphic images and hand it out to anyone I see wearing fur. None in Malaysia, I'm glad. Because it's nonsense to wear fur in 36 degree celsius!

SILK

From: http://animals.change.org/blog/category/veganism_and_vegetarianism
The silk worm needs to make a hole in the cocoon in order to emerge in its new-and-improved moth form. But that hole damages part of the cocoon — and the profits — of silk farmers, so before the silk worms can get that far, they're either gassed, steamed, or boiled to death: within their cozy shells. The only silk worms allowed to play out their cycle are those designated to be the breeders to keep the industry going.

Each cocoon will only yield a very, very small amount of silk. For this reason many thousands of cocoons are required to gather enough silk for a garment. For instance, to produce just 40kg of silk, 200kg of cocoons are required and 11.25 tonnes of mulberry leaves. 2500 silkworms are needed just for slightly less than 0.5kg. So, for 40kg, nearly a quarter of a million silkworms have to die.

Sheep are subject to much of the same types of cruelty as other animals used in agriculture: castration without anesthetics, docked tails, inhumane transport, and disease.
(CASTRATION)

A sheep is shorn for the first time when they are about 14-15 months old. They are then shorn annually. Early season shearing in wet, windy and cold conditions mean that the sheep may die from exposure and disease.

Australia, which produces 25-30 percent of the world's wool, uses the particularly brutal method of "mulesing" to prevent problems with fly and maggot infestations. Mulesing solves the problem by cutting out chunks of skin, without painkillers, so the sheep will regrow scar tissue that won't attract flies. Sometimes those wounds end up attracting flies, but the farmers will cut their losses as long as enough sheep stay healthy enough for it to be profitable. The all-important bottom line also means that the shearing process itself is typically brutal because the focus is on time and money, not the animals.

Change.org has some awakening posts on issues like poverty, war, human trafficking.

I EXERCISED.

Took Chuckie and Lucian for a jog. Not a walk, because Lucian will drag me to run. Sled dog style. Did some whacko "dancing" in front of the mirror to Lady Gaga as warm-up.

Ate too much yesterday. But I ate again after exercising. Wise Cottage Chips. And sushi.

And also Chuckie likes to eat his own poo, specifically at night. I read somewhere that there's a scientific reason behind this. Natural instinct. Because in the wild the mum would eat their offspring's poo so that no predator would be able to detect her baby.

It is actually smart idea, except that you have to taste poo. But between choosing consuming faeces and dying, the former is indeed a better choice. But still. Chuckie!

I watched 17 again. It was surprisingly a movie worth watching. I didn't bother because Zac Efron was in it, but I was bored and it was in my bro's phone. And hey, now that I think about it, Zac Efron can actually act.

I'm biased because he's a Disney star or whatever. Some of them are kind of messed up. Slutty Miley Cyrus pictures. A nude Vanessa Hudgens picca. Saw them on perezhilton.

Am currently using my bro's phone. My phone had nicely decided go dead on me on the first day in Singapore. Nice timing.

But hey, I have a reason to buy a new phone. Sony Ericsson Jalou! The pink Dolce and Gabbana one.

Kay, that's all for today.

Pet Society.

THIS IS DEDICATED TO TACO

Who is Taco? Taco is my beautiful pet who lives in pet society.

If you see my wall in facebook it's filled with pet society.

My guilty pleasure and lame addiction.

It's too cute.

I confess:

I spent the whole day on pet society today.
Gee, I'm lame.

Dog

In my very eagerness to make my blog a full-fledged one, I have decided to flood my blog with pictures(thanks to YenYi for reminding) and posts. Plenty of time in my hands since it’s holiday. =D

So, now, my blog name. I wanted something easy to remember. The song Buubuu.... chah-chah! Chah-chah! Stuck in my head so I decided to use it. It's from a cartoon. I hadn’t watch it for a long time. It used to be on TV. The good old days when watching your favourite cartoon means happiness. It’s about a dog called Cha cha who died and morphed into a car. A talking one.

Oh yeah, dogs. I have two. One is Chuckie. Another is Lucian. Lucian is my bro’s. But bro’s always busy with something. I love Chuckie. I love and hate Lucian. You know, they say having a pet makes you live longer by decreasing blood pressure and all, but since having Lucian, the benefit is very much reversed. He increase my blood pressure. His darn teeth. From biting the only shoes I feel comfortable in, the book I borrowed from my friend, my handphone case until it came off(THE OWNER HAS YET TO OFFER ANY RIGHTFUL COMPENSATION.) and right down to MY DOG. He bites my dog. I whack him. Violence breed violence. The cycle goes on. I think he secretly likes getting whacked.

But sometimes you look at his riveting eyes and you feel he is innocent. Yet he is not. But it is not his fault. He’s got too much energy. Sometimes I think he’d be happier running down slopes of a snow mountain. Siberian Husky. His fur fascinates me. Where it is black, run over the opposite side and it turns white. It’s like double-sided fur.

Chuckie is my good ol’ companion. I like the way he fluffs when I take him for walks. When he does something wrong I try to whack his head, but before I manage to, he lands a high-five on my palm. He’s already 5 years old. One dog year is about equal to 7 human years. 35 years old. He’d be lucky if he lived through double digits. I’d be devastated if he was gone. But that is inevitable. Humans too. We’re all mortals. I'd be grateful that I had Chuckie in the first place.

I hope dogs do have a place in heaven. Hope. Along with my dead bunnies. Those poor short-lived things. They were so fragile. At first when I got Chuckie I wondered if he’d be like that too. I got a lop-ear and an angora. Loopy is the grey lop-ear bunny while Snowball is the white angora. They were cute.Timid. Loopy died of diarrhea. It basically pooped itself to death. Died after two days of having it. And then exactly a month after that, Snowball died. On my frickin birthday. They got disposed on a trashbag. Which, now that I think of it, is very disrespectful. I was 11 at that time, and I cried for two hours(the longest) when Loopy died.

During holidays I make this particular sandwich. I eat it on most days during holidays because it is the one thing I know how to make that keeps me full and is healthy. I present you the Penguin Sandwich. No, it does not have penguin meat. It is called that because the pic of the sandwich is accompanied by a penguin cup (from Genting.) Basically, bread and coral greens and tomatos and fish fillet. I like tomatos. They’re juicy. But they’re pretty weird if you eat them on their own. I only use whole-meal bread, because I don’t know ever since when, I get the idea that white bread is bleached bread. Since bread aren’t original that colour.

It reminds me of dyed hair. I tried dying my hair. From those at home ones. It didn’t work. My friend and I were trying to experiment. The colour didn’t show. But it probably would have some result if you get it done professionally. I have white hair. It drives me crazy. Not the white hair, but the people who tell me I have it. I KNOW I HAVE WHITE HAIR, alright. You don’t have to remind me. If is hurts for you to see if, remove your eyes from my silver hair. It’s in my genes, and no it’s not because I’m stressed or whatever. It just comes out of my head. It annoys me when I’m talking to someone and then they get distracted by something on my head. And then they tell, and try to pluck my white hair. One girl told me the line “You have white hair.” I wanted to tell her she had hair on her upper lip. But of course, being polite, I grin and bear it. I tried plucking it but gave up when my neck hurts. And when I pluck it, it grows back sticking up proudly. I don’t want to dye the same colour of my natural hair either. That wouldn’t make sense. But then, hair is actually a dead cell, anyway. I keep mine short, because it is convenient. I don’t wake up early, I don’t want to waste time on tying my hair to get ready for school. So I’d probably keep it short until I feel like I’ve got enough time to get ready for school.

Also, Lucian had caused big hassle by destroying the only viable shoes I have. I have others, but they suck. I can’t seem to find shoes that fit me comfortably. In the shops, I walk, oh it feels fine, and then I walk it for more than an hour and it start to hurt more with every step that I take. So it ended up a few times of me going to the store to get a new shoe, hurting my feet with the new shoe, getting a new shoe. But alas, I found a great bargain. I went to Fourskin, and the price was so damn ridiculous. It was a lousy beach-style rubber flip-flops. Priced at RM99.90. When the cost of making it is somewhere around RM9.90. Hunted for shoes for a while, found this slipper at RM12. So cheap. And I actually like that slipper.

Also watched Up. It didn’t dissapoint. I like the part of Cane and Ellie. The old guy and his wife.

Also watched Gossip Girl and Janice Dickinson Modelling Agency, late night last night.

I drew some stuff. Nothing big. Doodles. Sometimes I get a lot of inspiration while other times it’s not there. I think Art is a form of self-expression. I like that it doesn’t need logic, it doesn’t have to make sense. I usually sketch on Monologues. I always smudge the drawings. Other than that, I use Artlines, which doesn’t require sketching paper. I don’t like people watching me draw. It’s like their expecting something exciting to happen. I don’t mind letting people see finished drawings, though. I’ve been drawing frequently since I was 7. Drawn up clothes and their price. But it took me 5 years for my drawing to be worth of something. I looked over my old drawings, and it looked so disfigured. Drawings:
