Principal

Eh, today the principal talked to me.

Like she was interested to get to know me. Which surprised me, incredulously so. Mostly I only remember her criticizing the students, especially during the assembly. And so mostly when she approaches someone I assume it's to criticize.

She thought my mum ran Pappa Rich. That would be cool, but reality is that she was just eating there. And then talked about my parent's job bla bla bla.

Hahahaha. I don't know. She might not be so bad after all. Though some people automatically look intimidating. Bushy eyebrows, wide foreheads, down-turned mouth. Read somewhere that people with down-turned mouth are pessismistic and pretty hard to please. :o

Um. Her mouth did "shiver" when she talked, which looked a little like it's trying to contain anger and frustrations.

But I shall not have bias towards the principal from today onwards. Thougggh, it's disconcerting when school trips are disallowed and school rules are always getting tighter and tighter. And that the school fees, higher and higher. Bah.

Today there were interviews going on. For next year's prefect and librarian post. Some were dissapointed. The teachers are making Nicole to either breakup and be a head prefect or not breakup and be a normal prefect. Nicoles says she doesn't mind breaking up but she doesn't know how to say it to Shamsul because Shamsul asked Nicole not to leave this school to become head prefect.

IDK. Nicole is good with leading people. The current head prefect is in a relationship, too. Teachers said they don't want that for the next prefect. 0.0

But we shall always remember this quote:
"At the end of your life, you will never regret not having passed one more test, not winning one more verdict or not closing one more deal. You will regret time not spent with a husband, a friend, a child or a parent." Barbara Bush

Especially held true in this exam-oriented country. So next a friend asks you out when an exam is approaching, GO. :D To all Form 3s, don't worry about freaking PMR. They're abolishing it soon, right? No need for straight As, just get A in Maths, English and Science. But that's only required if you want Science 1. Get either 2 for Science 2. But don't do so bad you have to stay stuck in Arts 2. I hate getting no options.

Few people came, but it was pretty fun. Asked Wei Kien about stuff. If you're curious about guys you should just ask them. They're happy to brag and show. Um. Shocking that a few people had "done it".

I read somewhere on Tumblr that a man's penis is 3 times the length of their thumb, and I said that, but I suppose it isn't true because they got insulted that it was so short.

Hahahaha. Um. Well. Bye. :D

Test

Atm Sim Kuan & I have each other as profile pictures. When we have a convo on fb it looks lesbanite.

I am studying for monthly test because it's easier to score. Thou it's just monthly test. But dang, easy to score when you know what chapter is selected. I don't believe the As on report card denote how intelligent a person is, just whether they put in enough effort or not.

Now I only have to study a few specific chapters. Minimal effort, maximum result, I like! But,, I was studying maths and went to play pokemon. -.-

HAHAHAHA POKEMON. I choose Cyndaquil!

Xuan was at my house just now. Asked her if she played pokemon. She looked at me, stunned. Oh I got her blog link too. :) And Kok Leong told me he reads my blog. Me & Jun Wen started calling him "Yam Lo", he's mucho different from Form 3.

Might sign up for Japanese lessons at Mei Yen's sister's tuition centre. She's making a lot of Bestarians go. Ask her if you're interested. But ever since she's helping the tuition thingy she's like stressed out. Poo poo. No fun.

And, oh. Funny thing doing maths. A question I didn't know, asked Oscar and he didn't know. Asked Theng Loo and he knew. The irony is that Oscar got A, but Theng Loo apparently failed math.

I used to love math, but after the Mrs. New era(remember her?) I started hating numbers. But oh my gosh, sad to say this, but maths can fun. Hahahha. OK. I'm going to start studying now.

LIKE NOW.

And then tomorrow's test, and you've got to stick your ass to chair for one LOOOONNNNG day.

:D

Report Card

DENG DENG DENG DANG!

Saw my results. Asked teacher about rankings and she brought the list! Will not be at school for report card day tomorrow. Rest.

Zhi Qi's dad gave her the silent treatment after knowing she was getting bad results and I made a bet with Shao Yang to see if he can get into top 15. Out of 21 students. He is ranked 21st. HAHAHAHAHA. Winner gets treated to a meal.

I improved! Got a boost from dumping Add Maths for Commerce and taking Art. HAHAHAHA.
I want prize. :( Hari Anugerah. Last 2 years I was in the smart class and that relinquished any chance I had. I'm hungry for it but I'm not exactly up to studying. OK I shall study.

HERE I COME!
and I think I should camwhore more for my blog. do you not enjoy pictures!

07/08 Recollections & school

This was when I was 13 and had a very annoying nickname because of someone and people keep on irritating me with it so I keep on cussing. Ugh. Developed cussing habit. Had sleeping problems too.

But I was very happy that year. Moving into secondary and stuff. Fun class, too.

Pretty bored at school today. Had co-co. I don't like St.John. Chun Yen was PMS-ing and shouting all over the place, goodness. He was like,
"KEEP QUIET! SHUT UP! Every morning assembly also noisy still not enough is it! HAR?!
He's usually quite in class. :D And then there's the fee to pay. UGHHH.

By the way, am dropping add-maths, switching to commerce! If possible. Asked teachers. Fikri and Nicole might switch. I suck at maths. Modern maths, add maths, whatever maths. My weakness weyh. Today Wei Kean came to Science 2(from Science 1). Lester and Nam gone, Science 1. Feels like the closeness gone.

Another photo. Form 2 I think. Mei Yen's house.

Got our yearbooks today. A lot of crossdresser photos from our form. Motivation camp and academic week performance. Ding in dress, stockings, and heels. He looked so pretty. Laughed like bananas. Asked mei yen to see it too. PAGE 72!

After co-co the guys changed their clothes in class, and then the Art 1 guys came too. Asked Mei Yen why, she said, "Because Art 1 got a lot of girls." No wonder.

Urm. I have to say this. Guys have better bodies than girls. At least my form/class. The tummy! Most girls have flabby tummy because they don't like exercise. Spotted muffin top in toilet after co-co. Like this:

Even girls who look slender(supposedly)have muffin top! A tip for guys! So don't be surprised!

Ok, am gonna check if I have muffin top. If I do then I'll... urm... have Lucian make me run it off.

Buh-bye!

Are you for real????

So last night I open up my daughter's book bag to look at her "Tuesday Folder" this is the schools way of communicating to us the happenings of our elementary school. Much to my surprise there is a Progress report in this folder for my daughter. I say much to my surprise because in November when we meet with he teacher for a parent conference there was no mention of a progress report that would be coming home. I as did my husband generally assumed that we would not see an officially report card till 1st grade, silly me! Anyway I see the envelope and think well I am sure this is going to be good Lauren always gets glowing reports whenever I happen to run into her teachers (teacher and an aide) so I go about my business reading the fliers about Silent Auctions, International day and Book Fairs, as well as helping both my kids with their Kumon's work.

I finally get them settled and in bed so I decided to go read Lauren's progress report. First let me say the damn thing should come with instructions it took me like 2 to 3 times of reading it through to figure out what they were trying to tell me. BTW I think I am a pretty bright person I usually get things the first time you tell me. So now that I have the hang of reading this thing I start to feel my head shaking from side to side. Are they evaluating my child or someone else? I give it to my husband to read because at this point I think clearly I am not interpreting this right. He too scratches his head asking is this for Lauren?? Thanks goodness, I think..... I was starting to feel like a complete moron.

We do Lauren's homework with her every night and we also do her Kumon's work which is basically enrichment classes to build on what she is doing day to day at school. We take every chance we get to teach a concept to not only her but her brother also, and in my eyes and the eyes of many other moms and dads that know Lauren she is considered to be a pretty sharp cookie! However according to this report she is barely getting by. WTF ????? Sorry, I am venting I know !!!

So I have emailed the teacher asking for a conference to help me understand where the disconnect is. How do you get reports that she is doing great to she is getting by??? I will let you know what comes of the conference once we have it. I welcome the thoughts of my readers if they have had this type of situation before, because right now I am truly baffled!

UPDATE: I have a conference next tuesday at 8:15am
