This morning, I was dressed in navy and ready to go at 7:40 a.m. I went straight to the store to check the L.E.D. lights that they had installed the night before over the entire exterior of the store. The lights are tiny dots that oscillate to create moving images on the surface, and I’m very pleased with the results. At 9 a.m., I headed up to 166th Street with Caroline Kennedy. It was the first time I’ve ever met her, and I found her to be very refined, with impeccable manners.Luckily she speaks French, which is my second language.

just got back from lunch at Swifty’s, where I had a plate of spaghetti carbonara, two glasses of red wine and watched all of the elegant couples dining in their nice clothes and fancy earrings. I feel much better. After lunch, I hopped back to my apartment for a 15 minute power nap. I always take a very quick nap after lunch. I think this is probably rather Italian, no?
