We discussed that keeping a client from walking away will happen but is less likely to happen if :
- You respect the clients time and schedule meetings.
- You set client’s expectations positively.
- You never use jargon ‘tech talk’ around a client.
- You relate information to a client in a form they understand.
- When you are talking about budget, you ask only open-ended questions.
- You never manage a client’s wallet.
- You act polite.
