New Year's Eve and Eve

Went to the curve. To watch avatar. And to Ben's party afterwards(countdown to New Year's Eve party 0.0).

Sick now. I talk like a tranny. Had sore throat yesterday, then it got worse after having pizza and soda at Ben's house. Was generally grumpy. Got home late, about 1. My dad went to some fortune telling thing, so I had to wait until he was done. Then had to find some 24 hour clinic.

AVATAR WAS AWESOME. GO WATCH IT. We watched in 3D, at the beginning Natalie wasn't so happy because she was broke and the tickets were exy. Haha. But it's worth the money. VERY DARN FASCINATING. Tis gonna be my favourite movie along with Dark Knight.

I was also wearing glasses when we enter the cinema and it was uncomfortable because I had to wear 2 glasses at the same time. 3D glasses over my glasses. Freaky, so I put on my contact lens in the cinema. Hoho.

Sim Kuan bought a handbag for Yen Yi, as a birthday present. Today's YenYi's birthday. 31.12.09. Last day of d year! Yen Yi's in Genting, I think. Happy birthday, yenyi!

After she bought it she was like, SHIT, SHIT! Because she was broke. We're all broke. Sim Kuan was like, "I'm gonna kill Yen Yi if she doesn't appreciate this." Haha.

It's New Year's Eve. Meiyen asked me to go to her house. They be going to Waterfront. Fireworks? Probably staying in. Ishhh.

NOW TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE WELL & HEALTHY, BE THANKFUL!

But at least mine is just a pity bug. Not some fatal disease. =D

New Resident to Casa Peterson!

Hope you didn't think I was talking about a baby!


Just paid for this beauty :) She'll be moving in with us sometime next week, we don't know for sure. She sure is nice and sweet, and very efficient with her time. Yes, she is a girl. You mean you don't assign your appliances a gender? That's a shame...

The End-of-Year Feeling....

Year 2009 is only to end in less than one day time..

Somehow now the new year is kind of different.

When I was young, end of the year is a long holiday.

I dont need to care about anything, just play eat sleep and cycle continues.

When I was young, countdown is the fun thing.

I will wait forward to it, plan gathering & countdown etc.

When I was young, end of year means new school term starting.

I will have new textbooks, new school items, new class, new seat.

It's the feeling.. like a chapter is over, and now opening a new chapter.

But....

Now I am older(ahem, but not that old), end of the year isnt holiday anymore.

I still have to work.

Now I am older, countdown mood no longer that strong.

I rather stay home or somewhere more quiet with people I love.

Now I am older, end of the year = end of the year.

Just that now when I wrote the date, the year must change & the month restart.

No more new chapter. Everything is/feels like the same..

You know that feeling. it's weird but unexplainable.

But nevertheless. I hope my year 2010 will be a great year :)

This year no resolution, cause I think I never really follow any!

Just hope that I can be confirmed as a SGH staff. Finished my first year bond. Happy year for the people around me. Be with Toh Jiarui. Toh Jiarui get to the university he wants.

List seems to be getting longer... cannot be too greedy!

tidak tahu hendak mula dari mana.saya rasa bulan akhir tahun ini bukan-lah menjadi bulan favourite sesetengah orang.dua tiga menjak ni, banyak betul kes putus kasih sayang.perempuan-perempuan saya je dah dua orang bersedih.hurm..entah.saya tak berada di tempat mereka jadi mungkin saya tak layak untuk bercakap apa2 mengenai itu.takut-takut terlebih cakap, bakal membuatkan mereka bertambah sedih.saya doakan mereka kuat.

awal bulan ini, kami dikejutkan dengan cerita putus cinta dari salah seorang teman rapat saya ziela.berkasih hingga 4 tahun tapi akhirnya dia dibuang atas alasan, "anda sudah tidak dapat membahagiakan saya dengan wang".wtf.rupa-rupanya ziela berkasih dengan lelaki-pisau-cukur.aduhaiii...dikikis sampai mati.dari ceritanya, setiap kali keluar ber'dating', ziela tidak lepas dari membeli kan barangan 'Puma', 'Nike' ditambah lagi dengan baju2 dari F.O.S.lelaki ini memang kejam.lagi diceritakan, duit dari dalam poket sebanyak RM300 abis membelanja belai sang kekasih sehingga hanya tinggal RM1.50 buat tambang balik menaiki bas.kejam la kau jantan! :'( kau tunggu sahaja balasan di akhirat kelak wahai bangsat! bercerita didalam blog ini bukan la untuk mengadu-domba hal perihal rakan2, tapi ini sendiri menjadi peringatan buat diri saya.bukan senang nak berkasih.perempuan ini kalau dah sayang, apa pun direlakan..aduhhhh. :'(

saya mahu ziela tabah.tunggukan sahaja kedatangan jodoh yang ikhlas dari Tuhan.jangan lagi bersedih untuk lelaki-yang-tak-seberapa wangnya, wajah nya, tingkah lakunya. (ok..its depends.kasih sayang bukan mengenai rupa paras, harta benda).

semalam seorang lagi sahabat saya pula merana.fafa namanya.cantik.sempurna.baik.jujur.sedikit perahsia.seorang yang ceria.entah dimana silapnya.saya belum berkesempatan bertemu dengan nya untuk ketahui kisah sebenar.yang saya pasti, dia sedang bersedih.melalui status di facebook, saya dapat juga rasa pedihnya.entah...semoga diketemukan dengan lelaki yang ikhlas menyayangi mereka.amin.saya sedar dalam usia mahu menginjak ke angka 26 tahun pada 2010, rakan2 saya dan termasuk saya sendiri semestinya mempunyai rancangan untuk membina institusi.cuma tinggal bersedia atau tidak saja.saya tidak minta dicepatkan, juga tidak meminta dilambatkan jodohnya.semua terpulang pada Tuhan.ini kerja Dia.kalau dipaksa2 nanti saya juga yang merana.. :)  hubungan saya sendiri baru menginjak ke usia 5 tahun.tidak lama mana.tapi alhamdulillah, setakat ini tiada hal yang besar.doa yang baik2 saja, ya.seorang teman pernah berkata dalam nada bergurau ;

"macam mana ni kerr? semua kawan-kawan sudah berkali berganti teman.

lu je belum lagi..." (merujuk kepada hubungan saya dan afiq)

memang kedengaran seperti bahan jenaka, tapi betul juga.kawan-kawan saya sering bertanya apa saya tidak mempunyai masalah dalam perhubungan? tipu kalau saya kata tidak ada masalah.masalah sentiasa ada.cuma perlu dilihat dari segi bagaimana mahu menangani masalah2 tersebut.saya juga pernah bergaduh.pernah bertekak.pernah dimarah.pernah memarahi.saya pasangan normal.cuma Tuhan telah menganugerahkan saya dengan kejujuran Afiq.semoga dia jujur dan sayang kepada saya sehingga hujung nafasnya.amin.tapi kalau Tuhan kata dia bukan jodoh saya, maka jauhkan segera.

Two years

Two can be such a beautiful number.

How has the second year been different from the first? In many little insignificant-yet-significant ways.

We have more things, more clothes, a new bookshelf by the entryway and new upholstery in the dining room. We color our hair less. Marlon weighs less (and dresses better, if you ask me). We switched bed sides. We fight much, much less than we did in our first year, despite me being somewhat less eager to please and prove myself as a wife. In fact, I don't remember a single fight we had this year.

We are beginning to see our dreams slowly being fleshed out into reality. We have savings (!) and earn more as a unit. We've rented out our spare room. We don't spend a bomb on groceries anymore. We do Iyengar yoga for beginners on Monday evenings. Actually, we exercise together, period. (Although we swim less often.) We cook together less often, but we still do sometimes, which I find extremely therapeutic and enjoyable. We are supposed to be closer to having a baby, but we keep moving the "deadline."

I would like to be trite and cutesy and say that the only things that haven't changed are the love and happiness of being married to my husband. But that wouldn't be true, because they have -- they've grown greater and deeper, and have simply become, in a word, more.

Happy second anniversary, sweetie. I love you!
